The Ice House is not rented on its own — add it to the Boathouse or Still Meadow. Peak weeks in July and early August book first.
In any combination of cottages, check in the Friday before Memorial Day and check out the following Tuesday (four nights) at the High Season weekly rate, prorated to four nights.
Book Memorial Day SpecialThe week
Stays run Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is 4:00 pm; check-out is 10:00 am. The one exception is the Memorial Day special: check-in the Friday before Memorial Day, check-out the following Tuesday — four nights at the High season weekly rate, prorated. Linens, towels, and departure cleaning are included.
How far ahead
We accept reservations up to 12 months in advance, and not further. Weekly stays are Peak, High, or Shoulder season. Early May and October are not offered.
Deposit & balance
A stay begins as a request. We ask you to tell us about yourselves and the party; we review that before confirming. A 50% deposit then holds the reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. We send payment instructions by email after we approve.
Tax
Maine lodging tax of 9% is added to the rental subtotal.
Reunions
The Ice House is not rented on its own — add it to a Boathouse or Still Meadow week when extra guests need a quiet room.
Cancellation
More than 60 days before arrival, the deposit is returned minus a $150 administration fee. Inside 60 days, the deposit is refundable only if we re-rent the week. Travel insurance is recommended.
Occupancy
The Boathouse sleeps 6 and Still Meadow sleeps 6. The Ice House sleeps 2 and is available only as an add-on to one of those cottages, so the property stays quiet.
House rules
No smoking indoors. Quiet hours after 9:00 pm out of respect for the cove.
What we provide
Fully equipped kitchens (remodeled 2023), high-speed Wi-Fi, outdoor grills, on-site laundry, three loaner bicycles with helmets, and a ramp and float onto Long Cove.
