Totman Cove Beach - Phippsburg’s town beach, Phippsburg residents and renters only, 2 miles. Take the permit on your cottage’s bulletin board.

Morse Mountain to Seawall Beach hike - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g40818-d21330758-Reviews-Morse_Mountain_To_Seawall_Beach-Phippsburg_Maine.html . This is a favorite of ours. It’s moderately hard, so it’s a good workout, but the reward is a vast, largely empty beach - Popham Beach without the people. Carry in/carry out. Take bug spray.

Cove’s End Trails - Private trail system on our 21 acres that connects to a large public system created by the resort. See “Private Trail System” link above.

Day Trip to Monhegan Island - http://www.balmydayscruises.com leaves from Boothbay Harbor, one hour away (parking can be challenging - leave plenty of time to find it). Whales are seen, sometimes, on the ferry ride over or back.

Kayak and Paddleboard Rentals - Seaspray Kayak (Brunswick) -they deliver and pick up at Cove’s End. (207)404-1100.

Ferry to Seguin Island Lighthouse -https://www.ripplesmithsailing.com/seguin-island-ferry. Seguin Island Light was commissioned by Geo. Washington in 1793, and the current structure - open for tours - is a Victorian relic built in 1857 featuring a first order Fresnel lens. A 22’ boat ferry departs from the Sebasco Harbor Resort dock, a short distance from our cottages.

Charter Fishing and Cruises - Cap’t Joe Jerome (West Point), https://northeastsaltwater.com/ . Want to catch striped bass? Cap’t Joe is your man.

Artist’s Studio - East Village Studio (West Point) - Jillian Herrigel, artist. http://www.jillianherrigel.com/ . Jillian’s art is featured in our cottages. Her studio is minutes away, but call first.

Freeport, LL Beans and Outlet shopping - 40 minutes away. Good for rainy days, but be warned - the cell service there, for some reason, is terrible!
